Corruption



Every state has its own politics, every district has its own politics, every town has its own politics, every organisation has its own politics. I used to think that corruption is like a termite, it destroys and decomposes the structure of an institution. 

But no corruption is the tie that binds it all. If let's say next day corruption disappears from the face of earth, our governments would also fall.. since they are so intertwined with eachother that they can not function alone as separate bodies. It's just not for them, they are the best buddies.. they bring out the best i mean worst in eachother and that's how they survive different seasons, elections if you know what I mean.


And after closely observing corruption for so long, I have come to realise that not all corruption is bad. Infact some level of corruption is needed to control the other intense level of corruption. Just like that saying that poison cuts poison its the same case here too. 

You just have to keep that in mind that how much of it is Ok because anything in greater quantity is bad other than money but ofcourse that can also get you in trouble with the income tax so you see what I mean self control is important. Using corruption as a control machenism for other intense type of corruption can work if done with precision and a sense of morality.

I know it can be hard to believe because corruption does really have a bad rep. What I'm trying to say here is that corruption is inventive there's no other concept that explores so many different ways of getting away from following the rules. Any rules.. 


Corruption is truly an inventive concept the only problem with modern corruption is that it's done for profit. Just imagine if the end goal of corruption wasn't profit but something else like research or interrogation. Corruption can bring about alot of development if done properly and with right intentions.

First of all corruption is everywhere it's universal so it's not like anyone is unfamiliar with it. I think we Indians have a mini version of corruption which isn't bad and works wonderfully in every situation this is corruption's profitable twin we call it 'jugad' now the thing about jugad is that it also comes from breaking and bending of the rules in a way which suits your own purpose it feeds the universal desire of getting our way this concept is actually so good I want everyone to benefit from it. It's the corruption that is just for you. Like your very personal dirty laundry, it's nobody's business because it doesn't hurt anyone it's just gets things done.

Now if you can use corruption in this harmless way you can solve alot of problems to be honest. Corruption is like an undercurrent it's always going on because people don't like doing as they are told, obeying the government, paying taxes we don't like that. And I understand that some things must be done even if you don't like them, There's always that thought in the back of our head that there must be another way many times we end up finding that other way, many times we end up creating our own (jugad) you know desperate time calls for desperate situations.

The important thing in both of these situations is that human nature is very susceptible to things like corruption we have a soft spot for being comfortable, getting our own way, and just enjoying life now that enjoyment causes loss somewhere in the system in the broad perspective of things but since the loss is not personal we don't account for it. 

The concept of corruption needs to be broken down, understood and used not against humanity but for humanity we need it to work for us so I'm here suggesting the concept of "White corruption" since the corruption can never leave we might as well adapt to it you know like let it be known white corruption is not something you hide, white corruption is something you show. 

It's like a technique it should be appreciated an inventive way of getting out of a unlikely situation be the example tell the secret and be appreciated for finding an inventive way now in this way ofcourse you won't get all the profit but you'll profit others. It's time we see corruption as more than just an evil thing we can make corruption work for us. We don't have to work for corruption.

What I have noticed is that corruption will always be there because there will always be profit, relationships, favors, family all the things that stimulate us emotionally and physically sometimes we like to see familiar faces in the races, we appreciate billboards of our favourite products, native slangs, town or state recognition makes us proud even if it's for bad things we lean towards familiarity we agree to pay taxes to our people rather than our government it's just a thing politics of each Street. People stick together for their interest and sometimes just familiarity.

Governments should learn from this rather than saying all corruption is bad find out how it can be profitable. Don't be anti-corruption be pro-corruption. Don't ask why people do corruption ask how people do corruption find out the clues, the patterns it's quite similar the leads always end up towards a profit, a favor or familiarity.

Because the balatant ignorance of that little fact, is not healthy. I know that back in the days, one important reason for  the internet to exist, was that it can connect people from all over the world, and it still is..  But we can't ignore the increased rate of cyber bullying & cyber crimes in the past decade. Connecting with strangers comes with it's own set of benefits and downfalls.
