Cathedral



She had run there. Her breathing was hectic, heart thumping against her rib-cage she payed no mind to it and without even catching her breath she marched inside the large cathedral. The place was beautifully vivid like something out of a dream Lana was never the type to stop and smell the roses or admire it but right now she couldn't admire the church's beauty even if she wanted to.. her feet carried her forward until she reached the one she came here for, the God.. never in her life she thought she would be here, the idea of praying wasn't something she was accustomed to.. 

But right now she would do that over and over again because she wants something.. she wants something more than she ever wanted anything in her entire life. She stood there frozen, her hand clenching and unclenching a sweat drop making it's way to her eyebrows from her run earlier. A priest approached the girl who seemed to be frozen in time.

"Are you gonna pray?" 

"How?"

He smiled and motioned for her to follow him, on her knees it was the first time she was on her knees in front of someone, but she didn't mind she was desperate.

"Now you can close your eyes and say what you wanna say to him, your heart's desire is your prayer."

She closed her eyes instantly there was only one thing in her mind, heart & soul..
'please let him be safe' the desperation in her prayer could be felt in the air of the cathedral..

She stood up after she had finished her prayer or her desperate pleah she turned around to return but she couldn't after taking two steps she turned back and said "if that didn't happen, I will destroy this whole place" she warned now it was even. No matter how hard she tries Lana can't pray giving threats is her way of making sure that the deal is done between them.. The priest only smiled. It wasn't his first time hearing that type of threat but he had faith in the kindness of his Lord.

Strangers on the internet are still strangers That line right there, I want to drill that line in the minds of every teenager using the internet. Because the balatant ignorance of that little fact, is not healthy. I know that back in the days, one important reason for  the internet to exist, was that it can connect people from all over the world, and it still is..  But we can't ignore the increased rate of cyber bullying & cyber crimes in the past decade. Connecting with strangers comes with it's own set of benefits and downfalls. Benefits such as broadening of the horizon, new perspective, exposure to different things, culture, people and perspectives which is all very nice but the downfalls can be so very drastic..
