Wilderness

Man is capable of doing everything that he can.. when learning about different animal species we take it into consideration their physical and mental strength, their habits and habitat, where they live, what they like to do, what is the perfect condition for their growth, what's their niche, if they are predators or prey and how they react in a situation of crisis, how they react to the changes around them.

Being a biology student, I'm well aware with all these facts and methods and can't help thinking that man had learnt about the wilderness and wilds around them, their behaviours and habits in order to protect himself, to learn the next move of the predators and to be one step ahead in the animal kingdom. But it's very strange to me that we never put humans into that category in zoology we learn about human body and in psychology we learn about human mind and we know what any alterations in both of these can led to..

But we pride ourselves on human strengths and sympathize with our limitations but we never really look at humans in their true animalistic form at this stage of evolution we think humans are different than animals and we are able to control and master our animal instincts. But even a slight possibility of there being an animal like humans scare us to our core because that humanistic animal could be first of all smarter than other animals, able to better attack and defend itself and most importantly it would be uncivilized there would be no stopping it.
It can even be more advanced than us regular humans that possibility is perhaps our biggest fear that's why we probably imagine these half humans and half wolves, these humanistic aliens.

But perhaps what we really should be considering is that we don't have to look that far, we don't have to imagine this stuff because the enemy is not that far, we humans are perfectly capable of destroying ourselves and now you would ask why would a perfectly sane person do that? And the answer is 'just because they can' sometimes the reason is that simple behind a killing, rape, mass murder, cannibalism name anything you want the reason could just be they did it because they can and then the sane people would put it into a different category labeling it as "Psychopath" but not all of us are clinically psychopath, but we all are capable of doing some evil stuff.

It just comes with being human I guess, a dark side you can say.. but we shy away from that so much, we don't even bother to learn about it, since learning about it would make it seem true and there is no evil humans here. We are all good, law abiding citizens, we are civilized, it was our ancestors who used to do some of these stuff, but back then there was a lack of education, old traditions, cults people were influenced, you know they were not evil, we say that while reading some of the worst crimes that ever happened in human history it's the nature of us to sympathize and support our race and I'm not here to call you guys out or to make you lose faith in humans.

I just want to put it out there, you know in case someone is wondering if all humans are now civilized, educated and woke how is this crime rates still going up? I don't want us to forget that we are still animals, and we do as we please, filling our needs, just because you have put this animal out of the animal kingdom and in a suit, doing a nine to five job, running errands that does not mean that his animal nature is gone because it's not, it's still there somewhere and it likes to make an appearance from time to time and I'm not telling you this to scare you, I just want you to know and be aware of your own animosity.
