HAPPIEST DAY IN INDIA

22 January 2024 aka "The happiest day of India" you may ask the reason for this happiness.. but it'll be quite hard to explain the history of five hundred years in few words.. It's the awaited happiness of 500 years, we waited, we faught, we built, we won..

It wouldn't be wrong to say this day is one of the most significant day of Indian history, and that's not because of the religious elements.. that only makes the half of it, The most significant part of this celebration is India recognising India, India embracing India, embracing the culture, embracing the history, embracing all the minor cultural details we used to brush aside as if it's not the most important or logical things, it's not rocket science, or western lifestyle or technology to fawn over..

It would have been a dream come true for legends like "Shri Arubindo" who raised his concern for India against becoming a westernised version of itself. Witnessing this event I can confidently  say that India will never face this predicament because the glorious consciousness is alive, the culture is thriving, no one is looking at the west anymore we are all looking at Ayodhya for the supreme guidance of "Shri Ram Chandra".

Many would try to minimize this events role in shaping India's Conscience and wanting to keep it contained as a Religious event concerning the majority religion of India thus proving it can't be beneficial for a democratic and secular country.. but anyone looking at these events will notice it breaking borders of religion, state, cast, creed, language and country it's a global event now, people are praising the Ram Mandir not just for it being a Hindu temple, people are praising the perseverance shown by several generations of people, preserverance, persistence and plea for.. ? A right, a right to pray.. where their Lord was born which is known and recognised world wide.. the birthplace of Ram was Ayodhya yet Ayodhya waited for several hundred years to have the temple of their Lord, to pray where he was born, it was a struggle, a bloodied struggle but it was a sacrifice people loved to make, to join in the struggle, to put their efforts however little or big towards the direction of making the Temple.

India has a history of invaders, it's not a pleasant chapter of Indian history but one that has shaped how we look at it now, the reason behind the long wait for the temple can be blamed on this, but independence didn't made things any easier, a culture of appeasement began for the minority communities and Ram mandir can not make it to the priority list, but then a government which was titled as a "Hindu rastravadi" Hindu nationalist party made it their priority and agenda, and it was done, the supreme court made the decision, out of a religious context just a property dispute, a very long property dispute.. anyways the important part was the victory, it's not the victory of a God, or Avtar, or supernatural being, it's a victory of devotees, of common people achieving uncommon feats, it's a victory of a culture and nation.
